🪟 Windows — "Windows protected your PC"

If SmartScreen warns you, click More info → Run anyway. The app is being code-signed; signed builds won't show this.

🍎 macOS — "unidentified developer"

If Gatekeeper blocks it, right-click the app → Open, or allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security. Notarized builds open normally.

🐧 Linux — install & update

Install with sudo apt install ./BNMAdmin-linux-x64.deb. On other distros, use the portable .jar (needs Java 17+). The app self-checks for updates.

🔄 Auto-updates & account

Sign in with your existing BNM account — the desktop app is the same control panel as studio.bnmapp.com. Updates install automatically.
