  • Windows store listing: pending. Use the .msi installer for now.
  • Intel Macs, Windows on ARM and 32-bit computers: no build yet.
  • Android 7.0 or newer, on phones and tablets.
  • Needs about 250 MB of disk space on a computer.
  • The desktop installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS show a warning the first time. Install help below shows what to click.
  • On a computer, the app tells you when a new version is out and downloads it; you then run the installer. On Android, Google Play updates it.

Business Studio

BNM in your web browser. Sign up here, then run your business from any computer or tablet. Some tools, like the website builder and the bot builder, are on the web only.

  • Nothing to install. It runs at in.studio.bnmapp.com.

BNM customer app

The app your customers use to find you, chat, order, book, pay and see their orders. Customers sign in with their phone number and a one-time code.

  • iPhone and iPad app: not yet. Customers on an iPhone can use app.bnmapp.com in the browser.
  • On Google Play the app is listed as BNM. Android 7.0 or newer.
  • Online orders, bookings and subscriptions from the customer app need your business to be on Pro.

BNM Billing

An early version (July 2026) of BNM's desktop counter app. The new BNM Billing is on its way; for counter billing today, use BNM Business.

  • This is version 1.0.1 from July 2026, an early version. The new BNM Billing is on its way.
  • Version 1.0.1 adds GST on top of your item prices, while BNM Business treats item prices as including GST, so the two apps can give different totals for the same item.
  • Version 1.0.1 still shows an old app name in its title bar.
  • Sign in on the till with the owner's BNM account.
  • There is no automatic update yet. Download new versions from this page.
  • On Windows, BNM Billing and BNM Lab cannot be installed for the same Windows user yet: installing or updating one removes the other. Your data is kept. A fix comes with the next BNM Lab release.

BNM Lab

Software for diagnostic labs: registration, billing, results, pathologist approval and printed reports, on the lab's own computer, working with no internet.

  • A separate product with its own price: ₹11,999 a year for the Lab Admin seat and ₹3,999 a year for each extra seat, + 18% GST. It is not part of the Free, Offline or Pro plans.
  • Needs the internet once, to activate your licence key. Email [email protected] for a key.
  • Check for updates in the app under Settings ▸ App.
  • On Windows, BNM Lab and BNM Billing cannot be installed for the same Windows user yet: installing or updating one removes the other. Your data is kept. A fix comes with the next BNM Lab release.

Install help

If your computer asks questions

The desktop installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS ask before they open them the first time.

Windows: “Windows protected your PC”

  1. Double-click the .msi file you downloaded.
  2. If the blue SmartScreen box appears, click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway and follow the installer.
  4. The warning shows because the installer is not code-signed yet.

macOS: the app is blocked when you open it

  1. Open the .dmg and drag the app into Applications.
  2. Open the app once. If macOS says it cannot check the app, click Done.
  3. Open System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway, then confirm.
  4. On macOS 14 or older you can instead right-click the app and choose Open.

Linux (.deb)

  1. Download the .deb for your computer: x64 for most PCs, ARM64 for a Raspberry Pi.
  2. Open a terminal in the folder where the file was saved.
  3. Run sudo apt install ./ followed by the file name, for example sudo apt install ./BNMBilling-linux-x64.deb
  4. Open the app from your applications menu.

Portable .jar

  1. Only for 64-bit x86 Linux with Java 17 or newer installed.
  2. Open a terminal in the folder where the file was saved.
  3. Run java -jar followed by the file name.

Signing in

  1. In BNM Business, sign in with Google, Apple or email.
  2. New to BNM? Create your business in BNM Business after you sign in.
  3. BNM Billing 1.0.1 signs in with the owner's BNM account.
  4. BNM Lab is activated with its own licence key instead.
